The dry and wet transmission principles are basically the same. Both clutches work in turn, but the connection medium of the clutch's active disk and the driven disk is different. The dry double clutch is by air, and the wet double clutch is by oil.
Technical maturity and reliability: Wet double clutch Because the clutch plate works in hydraulic oil, the oil has a certain heat dissipation effect, so it is more stable to use.
Dry double clutch Because of poor heat dissipation, the risk of high temperature or even ablation of the clutch plate is likely to occur in a congested urban area. At this level, the wet dual clutch transmission technology is more mature.
